Prepared by San Francisco District CouncilCAMP FIRE PROGRAM #1The Camp Fire has been prepared in advance. The Scouts are seated around it in a circle.
This is a STUNT NIGHT PROGRAM. Each tent is limited to five minutes. It must move right along in order to keep the interest of the crowd. Suggested Songs:
CAMP FIRE PROGRAM #2This is more on the order of a formal program, design to impress the importance of Scout rank upon the Scouts taking part.
This program is to be put on one of the last evenings of the session or Camp period. The Scout speakers should be selected for their ability to put over a message, for their ability to hold the interest of the crowd. Use boys wherever possible. It is a well known fact that boys will listen to other boys with interest and patience, where they will become impatient and fret during an address, no matter how excellent, by an adult. CAMP FIRE PROGRAM #3This program can be described as Dramatic Night in Camp. Prior to the camp fire, stunts or dramatizations have been issued to all the members of the camp. The program lasts two hours: (All Acts are introduced by the Camp Fire Leader.)
This program must move right along to hold the interest. Every act must be ready to go on without delay. The announcer should be able to introduce the acts and create the right atmosphere for them. It is suggested that the camp leadership review the act before the performance CAMP FIRE PROGRAM #4
