This was an old Boy Scout camping recipe that my father used with his troop MANY years ago, and passed on to other troops since then.

1 ground beef patty

1 or 2 sliced potato (s) depending on appetite

1 carrot sliced

1 stalk of celery sliced

1 onion sliced

Salt and pepper (I use Mrs. Dash)

Take 2 long pieces of aluminum foil. Put the patty on first, followed by the rest of the ingredients. Fold the foil over end to end, and roll over edges 2 times creasing tightly. When you get to the 3rd side, I put in about a 5 oz glass of water and seal the 3rd side. Turn the first package around so the first end is now in the middle. Follow the same instructions for sealing the package (except the water). Cook on a low heat on your grill turning every 7 minutes for a total of 28 minutes. Fold the foil back carefully because it is very hot. No dishes to wash.

You can add other vegetables such as hot/sweet peppers, summer squash, etc.
