By Dan BeardAs a crowd of boys are coming out of school one of their number slaps a friend on the back and cries "Last tag!" No boy with any spirit will allow this to pass unnoticed, for that would be against the ethics of a school boy. Immediately upon hearing the words "Last tag" the boy struck darts for his nearest playmate and slaps or touches him, crying "Last tag! " and so the game goes on until the boys are tired. The only rules of the game are these: A touch is a tag and the boy touched last is "It" until he tags someone else; and he cannot tag the boy who has just tagged him. OHB |
