By Rick Seymour

(To the tune of the "Bear Song,"  or spoken as a rap)

I met a bear,
   a polar bear.
He had some high-
   tech underwear.

He trapped himself
   some thin dead air.
Convection could
   not find it there.

Evaporate-
   tion
is no sweat.
Don't do no work,
   or you'll get wet!

Each breath you take
   the loss it great.
Save nine percent
   don't respirate!

Contacting skin
   with metal, rock,
ice, or snow
conducts a lot.

Conduction makes,
   us all afraid.
To lick our saw
  and hatchet blade!

One of those things
   I really hate,
Right from my head
   I radiate!

What do we learn,
   from stuff like that?
If your feet are cold,
   put on a hat!

Homeo STA,
   SIS SIS my friend.
I shall maintain
   it till the End.

 Extra Verses:

He said "Okpik,
   is really great.
Now there's no need
   to hibernate.

He said "Stoke up,
   your body's core.
Just eat some seals
   And shut the door.
