A number of these sketches will be effective if put on as a shadow entertainment, and similar acts. The actors will have to stand in profile. The further away the light is placed, the larger they will appear on the screen. Some amusing effects can be obtained by moving the light back and forth. If an actor jumps over the light, which may be placed on the floor, he will appear to leap directly into the air and vanish. Cardboard articles may be used for the dentist act, the operation act, etc. In the barber act an amusing effect may be obtained by the "victim" using a banana for his nose. The barber takes a swing at this and actually cuts it off. See Also:Campfire Helps |
